Meghan Oare is primarily a painter, whose influences consist of Abstract Expressionistic Artists, such as Joseph Bueys, Gerhard Richter, Anselm Kiefer, Jackson Pollock and Robert Rauschenberg. Her work is a display of control in a chaotic atmosphere to create. The work is created for the viewer to form their opinions by how they associate their life experiences to the work.

    In her work she uses bright colors and movement constructed on canvas and masonite with acrylic, house and oil paints. Included in some of the works the viewer can see glass and other materials such as paper. The paint is applied by dripping, throwing, smearing on palette with my fingers and/or brush strokes.
